Welcome to the Terrafirma jets site
I am a gas turbine technician by trade and also have had an interest in collecting and restoring gas turbines and turbojet engines for some years. This site was initially started to display my engine collection. It has however become a bit of a past time in itself and will be used to catalogue my projects, jet based and otherwise. I have some interesting new things to add to the site, including new turbo jet, turbo fan and turbo shaft engines, overseas engine and aircraft related excursions and as time allows the complete step by step strip and zero time overhaul of an Adour 861a turbofan.
