1/5th Scale Century Robinson 22

I have recently passed my PPL (Helicopters) During my training I decided to finish Century's 1/5th scale R22 model as close I could to represent the helicopter in which I have done all but one or two hours of my training.

Well chuffed

I was very pleased with this model, however during a flight I became disorientated and hit the ground. I managed to get it level and select full power before impact but I saw the blades cone up hear them slapping like mad and new I was too late. The crash was so hard that all of the servos and the reciever were smashed and the engine crank bent.

A field somewhere near Scarborough. This pic makes me feel for home.
All that lush green....no sand in sight, and no scorpions or plastic bags anywhere....

A landing in long grass.....New tail rotor blades required
