Palouste/Artouste test rig

Below are a few pictures of my old test rig that was built to enable testing on the hoof of all marks of Palouste and Artouste engines including Artouste 500 series engines. It was kitted out with callibrated instrumentation and an original Blackburn aero engines electricaly variable metered orifice to enable load testing to be carried out.

The instrumentation was removable in around 5 minutes to allow it to be stored safely when not required.

Below you can see a recently refurbished Palouste 102 with a quickly fabricated
cranked exhaust to allow it to be used to clear leaves, gravel and other debris from a small runway and aircraft manouvering area.

The exhaust nozzle is a standard Artouste 113 nozzle and was really of to large an
area, but it worked sufficiently well to get the job done. I also used this trailer to test the engines for the jet dryers and perform experiments on the minimum permissable nozzle area for the jet dryer engines.
