Rover 1s60 AAPU

There are several variants of the Rover engine in circulation with collectors. Electric started, hand started, water pumps, 60 hp, 90 hp, ground power units, apus and a rare free power turbine version.

This particular engine is a packaged unit for the Vulcan bomber. Installed the wing root it provided compressed air for starting as well as having a generator installed to provide aircraft power in emergencies in the air or powering the aircraft systems on the ground.
